Advancements in technology have allowed lots different robots to be developed in the past several years.  Between cheaper robotic technology and more advanced programming, robotics have started to fill all sorts of needs in our everyday life.

Now not only are we seeing more robots in our daily lives, but are seeing a lot more recognition for these great technological advancements.

For Wired Magazine’s WIRED25 event based in San Francisco the magazine created what they call the first ever Robot Petting Zoo.  At the zoo, visitors will get the chance to see, meet, and even pet famous robots from around the world.

Pepper the concierge robot will be featured at the zoo.  Visitors can talk to the robot, and if talking with her gets confusing, users can use her built in touch screen.

Another famous robot featured at the exhibit was SpotMini boston Dynamics.  The dog-like SpotMini robot is famous for being able to navigate its surroundings.  The robot is even able to open a door by itself.

One of the more touchable robots is Somnox.  Somnox is a robot designed to help users sleep by imitating the heavy breathing of a sleeping human.
