YouTube’s dark mode was a huge success after it’s release on the desktop site last year.  It soon turned into one of the most requested features for the YouTube app.

In March, YouTube announced that they would be releasing the dark theme for the YouTube app starting with the iOS version.  Android users have had to wait patiently to get the dark theme on their devices, but their wait is finally over.

YouTube has started rolling out the feature on Google powered devices, and soon everyone will be able to enjoy the new feature.  To turn dark mode on and off, just go to the settings menu, and find it under “Dark Theme.”

YouTube’s dark theme actually helps keep users from straining their eyes, especially at night.  That means your eyes can stay protected even during your late night YouTube binge sessions.

Now that the feature is available on any device, everyone can keep their eyes better protected while still enjoying all of their favorite content.
